Pour cloturer mes études, j’ai décidé que mon dernier projet combinerait mon savoir-faire de graphiste ainsi que mon passé de traducteur.

Après avoir fait plusieurs recherches, j’ai découvert les origines du Lorem Ipsum et  j’ai eu envie de les mettre en avant.
To end my studies on a final project, I decided to combine my knowledge of graphic design with my past as a translator.

After doing some research, I discovered the origins of Lorem Ipsum and wanted to put them forward.

In collaboration with Laurent La Torpille – a French digital artist – a digital artwork was created. Its goal was to mimic the way Lorem Ipsum behave but on images and not only on text.

Then I designed an “all-white” book – at least it seems lik it at first glance – with only “Lorem Ipsum” printed on the side.

To reveal the content you need to tear off the pages, and little by little, making the side inscription disappear. Inside are some visuals taken from the software and some translations of the Lorem Ipsum. I played with an English translation that made no sense, translated it in French and then used Google translate to create more. If you translate a text in different languages and go back to the initial one you always get a different result and create an absurd story.
